Dear Faisal, The number 66
Dear Faisal,
The number 66 comes from summation of a numbers from 1 to 11. In response to your question, Prof. Tsai have pointed out that "it is the sum of the series up to 11. The 10% rule reduces it by 11+10+9 = 30. Thus there will be 66-30 = 36. It was pointed out by one of our participants that [+45] must be matched by [-45] for balanced laminate, so the minimum [±45] will be 20. So we have to eliminate another 8 laminates. The net is now 36-8
= 28.
