Few questions regarding Prof. Miyano's lecture on ATM:
1. In the table on page 2 it is written that the testing period of the viscoelastic test for each specimen is 1 week. On the other hand, when I am looking at the figue on page 35, the typical time of each viscoelastic test is few minutes (log(t) is somewhere arround 0). Can anyone explain this issue?
2. On page 4-14 in the book, section 4.4.1, Prof. Miyano explain how to obtain the creep compliance of the matrix resin by back-calculating from the storage modulus of the transverse unidirectional CFRP laminate. Why do you measure the transverse modulus rather than the longitudinal modulus? Does it matter if you use tensile specimen or 3PB specimen?
Issue 2 is very important since I can easily reach a batch of CFRP, but it is very difficult for me to reach a batch of the resin itself. Therefore, I prefer to obtain the creep compliance of the resin from the storage modulus of the CFRP composite.
It would be fruitful to discuss this issues and more specifications of the test procedures.

Correction:
Item 1 - the table is on page 24 and not page 2
